LuDy Cafe, located in Irvington at 7 North Astor St., will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, June 15 at 11 a.m.

The establishment, founded by husband and wife Tim and Ashley Akapo, aims to "enhance your coffee experience and make every moment memorable," according to its Yelp page.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will feature live music and giveaways, the eatery will offer coffee and complimentary food.

"Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a great time, we've got something for everyone," the owners wrote on the event page, adding, "We look forward to seeing you there!"

So far, the establishment has already received a warm reception from visitors.

"I'm usually an iced latte type of person during summer time but their cold brew is the best I ever had," wrote Clement J. in a five-star Yelp review, also complimenting their pastry offerings: "The spinach feta pastry is also to die for."

Ashley H. also expressed a similar sentiment in her review: "Ludy Cafe is the perfect new addition to the neighborhood! The baristas know what they are doing when it comes to coffee - the coffee is delicious...The pastries are fresh and very tasty!"

She also said she would be back: "I can't wait to become a regular here!"
